Neighborhood Readiness Training

A Leon Ready Program

Prepare for the Atlantic Hurricane Season with the Leon Ready Neighborhood Readiness Training. The training is designed to help you, your family and your neighborhood prepare for disasters.

Creating a plan can help protect property, and most importantly, save lives. There are several things you can do to increase your readiness, and this program will provide you with the tools to prepare, act and recover in your neighborhood when a disaster strikes.

Neighborhood trainings will begin in June to coincide with the start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. Trainings are roughly 30 minutes long and can be presented during one of your regularly scheduled neighborhood meetings. At each neighborhood training, a County representative will bring five pre-made disaster preparedness buckets for neighborhood distribution.

Sign up for a neighborhood training by filling out the form below. After you submit the form below, you will be contacted by a Leon County representative to confirm the date and details.
