To enhance the region’s economic growth and quality of life by collaboratively inspiring the vitality of Tallahassee's visitor economy.
The Division of Tourism (Visit Tallahassee), promotes the Tallahassee – Leon County area through tourism advertising, public relations, direct sales, visitor service functions, and marketing research.
The Division also serves as the County staff liaison to the Tourist Development Council (TDC). The TDC, a nine-member advisory board, advises the Leon County Board of County Commissioners on matters pertaining to tourism marketing and expenditures of Tourist Development Tax proceeds.
